My Portfolio

My Portfolio!

In my portfolio you will find my photographes i have work on all year. Since i have been in this class i have learned to take even better picture now. I feel pretty good about my portfolio but sometimes wish I can do even better. The best thing I had fun was extreme angles, leading lines, and teaming up to make shadows. Socializing with people you don’t talk everyday made the group project even more fun.
I learned the difference from a snap shot and a picture. Snap shots are just picture of friends being silly. Photographs are pictures that are thought out at least a day on where you plan on where you would want the picture. I thought I was successful of the surrealism project I added a lot of creativity and came out to be really decent in the long run. I struggle a lot with Macro and Metaphors it was difficult because it’s photographs I don’t every single day.
I can improve my technique in Photoshop by giving full effort and not giving up and keep trying. Also, I can improve by taking more pictures in extreme, leading lines, and emphasis. Last year, I seen the photographs your students took and made me think maybe I want to attempt to do better. I’ve seen the improvement on my surrealism project, and extreme angle. Overall, I like the way my photographs came out everyone has an unique thing about them, and mine came out to be me.

* $ Metaphor $ *

What's lighting without light?!?!

I choose lighting as my metaphor because i feel strong. Have a lot of hope inside, and out. I also feel very powerful like i can do anything when i put my mind to it. Lighting in the sky strikes where ever it hits the ground and when it wants. That's another reason no one tells me what to do except for my parents.

This project was harder than surrealism because i couldn't make it girly. I had to make it look very powerful, and strong. I thought it came out ok. I think i could have done better but i just dont think i thought it out like i should have done. Overall, i think this metaphor project was awsome! If i could do it over again i would try to make myself look more like lighting than my regular self.

I.S.O. Project

Iso means international organization for standarization iso refers to film speed.
Iso is a blurry position button. 50 is the blurriest everytime you increase your maximum your picture gets clearer. The second picture was really blury you can see all that faky in the picture that makes your picture some creativty. The first picture is really clear. It looks like a regular picture that always come out from a digital camera. You can to use flash because you picture comes a lot better than a standarized picture. You have to be careful that iso doesn't just take the picture right there you have to make sure your ready at your camera position.

My Fabolous Banana's ~(Surrealism)~

One day afternoon when I was standing on a boat I was dreaming about what my guy that I truly like maybe he’s dreaming about me too. So I call him in my dream and it came out to be true he said Totally Hun. Of course I blushed. Are you serious? And, he of course! So I started thinking about hearts how hearts are so beautiful when someone actually cares about you a lot.

Surreal Pratice Tutorials

I learned just playing with it just a little bit can change your picture completly, but make it a lot better. At first you might not think so, but it actually does when your finally done with your portrait. I thought the original depth was horrible by adding some stuff made it more interesting to look at.

Eye Wall....

I like it because as first i was confused on what we were doing but working on it for a couple of days it came it to be awsome. The way the eye is connected to the wall. Even the flowers bring it out even more just like the butterfly. I say the hardest thing was the butterfly on where to place in the picture because it looks good there or even better on top, but overall, i like where i place in the portrait.

Student Handbook

I like mine because it has a lot of creatity than my original graduation. Added a little less creatity. I say that because itsn't just for girls it was also for guys, and there is hardly guys that like hearts and i don't think they would want it on their student Handbook. This one was harder to use graphic design because there was a lot of stuff you coulded have added but thinking of and applying it was a little bit extreme. same as i said about graduation, but overall i like my student Handbook i learned stuff i didn't know how to do before in photoshop so i think it was a so, so.

>>>>>Graduation<<<<

I think i did my very best. I could have done a lot worse, it doesn't matter if people
brage on it. I think I could have added a little more detail, and made the title more bigger. Added just a little more creatity into it. It was hard at first but once you got into it, it was easy than i thought it was going to be.
It was just that tiny bit more creaity. That brings you down just a little bit. I think the important part in graphic design is. Making sure you have most of the detail, and the look to back it up. I would say help a little more besides saying go do it yourself and talk a little less and have a little more action.

Frames

I like the second picture because it looks like i'm curious on what's going on over their. The first one i think makes me look really old in the face, and i don't like the way i'm posing too. i would take a few more pictures to have more of a selection in the later furture.

Balance:Asmmetrical vs Symmetrical

Asmetrical is when it's all uneven on one side and the other side is full of people. Symmetrical is when you can cut it in half and it still look the same on this side and other side so you wouldn't even though it was cut in half. Yes i think visual balance is important in art because if your trying to have a bird on both sides to create some fantasty so people like us know you added some thinking in your picture.

Group Collaberation

I like it, it's way different than any other person's idea. We saw water and all of us started thinking and before we knew it there it was. at first we didn't know how to make it work but it didn't come out that shabby. If i had to take it over again i wouldn't it's to good to do over again. even though pratice makes better. it looks like were walking upside down but where not it's just our shadows doing our jobs.
